Yep—another blog. I started this one to document my journey of learning new things. Why? Because I want to get better, plain and simple. I also want a space where I can journal the process and maybe share it with others who might find it useful someday.

I’m a geek with a bunch of interests and a drive to improve in lots of areas. Think of it as aiming to be a modern-day renaissance person (or at least trying to). I’m hoping this blog will help me untangle my thoughts and bring some structure to the chaos. I’m into computer science, programming, health, music, philosophy, economics, business, finance, sports science, books—you name it. And honestly, I kind of suck at a lot of these right now. But that’s the point: I want to get better.

Getting better at communication—both writing and speaking—is also on the list. Hopefully, writing here regularly will help with that too.

“I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking, what I’m looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear.” —Joan Didion

So who am I? I’m an engineer working on large-scale computer systems. And lately, life’s been a lot. Too many things going on, too many responsibilities—trying to juggle it all feels almost impossible some days. I push it hard to come through.

I have to keep learning because of my job, and I want to keep learning because I love it. There’s a part of me that’s obsessed with figuring out how to make the most of my time and energy, and how to operate at a high level without burning out. That’s actually where the name of this blog comes from—it’s about pushing toward that next level.

Over the years, I’ve read a ton of books, articles, solved tricky problems, written code, taken notes… but everything’s scattered across different places. This blog is my attempt to bring it all together—kind of like my own knowledge library. A place to collect, organize, and maybe even share the cool stuff I come across.
